This project presented a particular design challenge of great interest - namely, how to disguise multi-family density within a single family framework. |

We used the traditional New England single family "farmstead" as our model. We were able to create 8 units of housing in one farmstead - 4 units in the main house", 1 in the "shed", and 3 in the "barn" - while still projecting an image of a large single family property. |
