	"Convert an 1820's farmhouse into a 1980's energy efficient house that blends into the hillside, provides interesting interior spaces with dramatic exterior views, and provides a retirement home for a family with deep connections to the building's history."
	We designed a house as a collection of shed buildings surrounding and absorbing the original house. The house features a living room with free-standing columns and beams, music room, guest bedrooms, sleeping porch, solar attic and pieces of the old house retained for remembrances of things past.
