	"Provide a large family room adjacent to - or part of - a kitchen in a house that had enough rooms but no central gathering place."
	We determined that an addition was required to meet our client's goals and, as such, were able to design a room radically different in feeling from the rest of the house. We designed a distinctive room that was contemporary in its sense of light and space, but traditional in its use of detailing - particularly for such items as the arched windows, fireplace, built-in woodwork, window seats, and shelving.
