WINSLOW ARCHITECTS provided architectural plans and construction administration for this 10-unit scattered site development. The project consisted of existing triple-decker buildings in need of substantial renovation. The intent of the program was threefold. First, to provide homeownership opportunities to those who could not otherwise afford it. Second, to help clean up neighborhoods that were negatively effected by these buildings. Third, to provide projects for “Youth Build” organizations, whereby the buildings were to be renovated by youths in a training program funded by the State. |
